Syed Zaman
Syed Zaman is involved in a broad range of activities supporting the research of the Warren Center and the American Studies Program. Working both independently and in collaboration with the Directors and Coordinator, he provides high-level administrative support essential to the operation of both offices—from communications design and financial processes to events coordination and faculty/student support. 

Before joining the Warren Center, Syed worked as Program Coordinator for the Prince Alwaleed Islamic Studies Program and as Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost for International Affairs at Harvard University. With extensive experience in academic administration and institutional collaboration, he has also served as Interim Program Manager for the Consortium for Graduate Studies in Gender, Culture, Women, and Sexuality (GCWS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Syed is a poet and multi-media visual artist whose work has been published in literally magazines across Europe and the US. He holds a BFA from UMass Amherst, an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy, and an MA in Multicultural Psychology from Sofia University.
