Postdoctoral Fellows **Christina Davidson,Tejasvi Nagaraja, Juliet Nebolon**, and **Kristina Shull** will offer brief presentations of their work, and participate in a discussion of Global American Studies. **Christina Davidson:** "Converting Hispaniola: Religious Race-Making from Santo Domingo to Chicago 1880-1893." **Tejasvi Nagaraja:** "Soldiers of the American Dream: War Work, Jim Crow and Freedom Movements in the Shadow of U.S. Power" **Juliet Nebolon:** “Settler Militarism: World War II in Hawai‘i and the Making of Transpacific Empire.” **Kristina Shull:** "Invisible Bodies: Immigration Crisis and Private Prisons Since the Reagan Era."
